In a cramped basement and the service is a bit lax, but the food is the best Indian I've eaten anywhere in the US. Flavors are exquisite, nothing is too hot and the menu has enough variety to keep everyone happy. Going with a small group allows you to share dishes and is great fun. The wine list is unimaginative, but cheap, if you must have wine. The usual Indian beers are in attendence, so you won't die. I have been 3 times in one week just because I couldn't believe the Tandoor shrimp could really taste the way they did! Amazing. |
