Reviews for Prescott, AZ

The Royal Hawaiian Coffee & Wine Company
The door on the left or the door on the right? Go left and you are greeted by gentle Hawaiian music and the aromas of fresh coffee, delicious treats and the sight of mouth watering desserts. Go to the right and a calm surrounds you as you walk into a good sized wine shop with actual "selections" (not, "Hey, this crap'll sell!"). Clyde is extremely knowledgeable and will help anyone from novice to connoisseur. He even makes great gift suggestions!

 Monsoon (Restaurant on the Square)
This is a great place. Small enough to be intimate, large enough to accomodate Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bob's 50th wedding anniversary. Sushi is always great (get there early to order it at 5), mongolian beef never dissapoints. Great music plays through the speakers and if Mike is your waiter you won't have to wait for anything! Ask for him by name! I do! They have sake martinis, mixed drinks, even coffee!

 Spaghetti Western Espresso
This small and unassuming little place holds some big surprises! From the outside, you think "strictly coffee". Inside, there are a few tables and a quite expansive (big, NOT expensive) menu. They have pastas, salads, sandwiches, and of course, a variety of coffees/espressos. Call ahead and pick your order up at the drive thru!

 Genovese's Ristorante Italiano
Italian food that's really Italian. Intimate, romantic, and delicious.

 Cattleman's Bar & Grill
Beef, it's what's for dinner! But they also have trout (award winning). With the old barn boards as siding, old (read: ACTUAL) country music playing over the speakers, the sounds of the grill and the fabulous aromas - Cattleman's is one of the best damned restaurants in Prescott. It IS the best if you want a steak.

 SweetTart
Maddeningly wonderful desserts and dishes adorn the menu of this gem. Breakfast and lunch, dinner offered on Saturday by reservation.

 Waffle Iron
Homestyle meals, waitresses call you, "Shug" or "hon". Good food, not too fancy. Oh, and it's haunted.

 El Gato Azul
Small, intimate. Outdoor seating available. The warm orange paint inside offers a hint of how you'll feel as you leave. Gentle spices fill the air as you enter and the helpful staff can give recommendations on anything.
